Lezli Peña, a 2022 Bryan Collegiate graduate, is a first-generation college student, meaning she will be the first person in her family to attend college.

Like many students at Bryan Collegiate, Lezli earned an associate’s degree from Blinn College, along with her high school diploma. She entered Texas A&M University with 60 college credits in her back pocket, giving her a jump start on her goal to work in the dental field.

At Collegiate, Lezli served families in need by volunteering at Hope’s Locker, Bryan ISD’s clothing closet.

Richie began his theatre journey as a Bryan ISD 7th-grade student. He later discovered his public speaking talents during his senior year of high school, competing in Extemporaneous Speech at the state level with SkillsUSA and the national level with the Technology Student Association.

As a student at Rudder, Richie also served as an FFA chapter officer, district president, and a Rudder student representative for the United Way of the Brazos Valley.
