Bryan ISD families now know what next year's school year will look like.
At the Tuesday, January 17 school board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the 2023-2024 Academic Calendar. Following the discussion, the school board adopted the Calendar A Option.
Thank you to the thousands of people who voiced their opinion and voted in the school calendar poll. Bryan ISD also had a School Calendar Committee consisting of parents, teachers, and staff to review recommendations and options.
The first day of school will be August 10, and students will have a new week-long holiday in October.
Both Option A and Option B had the same number of instructional days.
